  2. Data Science Intern | OFR Telecom Private Limited

    August 2023 — December 2023

    • Cleaned and analyzed multi-SKU inventory time series data using Python (Pandas, NumPy); addressed issues like missing weeks, outliers, and inconsistent stock records.

    • Implemented and evaluated models (ARIMA, XGBoost, LSTM) to improve forecast accuracy on internal inventory datasets, leading to a reduction in MAE by ~2% in test simulations.

    • Documented key learnings and presented insights to the operations team, including a practical summary of which models performed better.

  3. Cloud Engineer Intern | Sallie Mae

    May 2023 — Aug 2023

    • Refactored 2,000 lines of code into Python, resulting in a reduction in execution time.

    • Developed a console application that calculated expenses associated with Green Accounts, resulting in a 15% reduction in cost.

    • Leveraged AWS services (S3, CloudWatch, Cost Explorer, Lambda, Boto3) to proactively address emerging technological requirements, enhancing operational efficiency.

  4. Research Fellowship | CI Compass

    Jan 2023 — May 2023

    • Researched the data lifecycle within the National Solar Observatory and suggested improvements to their data transfer systems.

    • Interacted with professionals in major facilities and participated in workshops covering the topics: High-Performance Computing, Cloud Services, and FAIR Data.

    • Collaborated with mentors, students and other staff to document the progress.

  8. Undergraduate Student Researcher | Center for Research and Learning, IUPUI

    Jun 2021 — Aug 2021

    • Project Name: Nanovision

The long-term goal of this project is to create an immersive learning environment that is publicly available for nanoscience and nanotechnology education. Our central hypothesis is that by creating a VR or AR environment, we can bridge the gap between higher education and the public about one of the exciting and relevant topics of our internet-of-things life. Additionally, by creating such environments, we will take steps towards more effective and engaging online education in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
